1. What cookies are

2. Cookies Hally Writer uses
At present, Hally Writer uses only strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies. These are required to provide the website and service you request, such as keeping you signed in, protecting accounts and sessions, remembering your active workspace, and supporting secure payments. They include cookies set by our authentication provider, Clerk, and cookies used by Stripe when you choose to make a payment.
We also store your cookie preference locally for up to 12 months so we can remember your choice. This preference is strictly necessary to honour the selection you make.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service, we do not ask for consent for them. You can usually block cookies in your browser, but this may prevent Hally Writer from working correctly or securely.
3. Optional analytics and marketing cookies
Analytics and Marketing are disabled by default. If you consent to Analytics cookies, we may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use Hally Writer's public website, including page visits and general usage patterns. We do not use optional marketing, advertising, social-media tracking or cross-site behavioural advertising cookies at present.
